Boris the Champion! Our Boy’s Journey to TICA Success

We have some exciting news to share—our Boris is now a TICA Champion! Not only has he earned his champion title, but he is also currently ranked as the 4th Best British Shorthair in the Southeast!

Boris’s Show Journey

When we first decided to enter Boris into the world of cat shows, we knew he would have a great time! He is very sociable and has some nice attributes for British Shorthairs. With his plush coat, round eyes, and stout body, he truly embodies everything that makes British Shorthairs so lovable. But beyond his looks, Boris has also impressed judges with his calm personality—he takes show weekends in stride, enjoying all the attention and treats that come with it.

Judges’ Praise and TICA Success

At each TICA (The International Cat Association) show, Boris wowed the judges with his outstanding coat, rich color, and well-balanced body. His thick, luxurious coat and coloring were repeatedly highlighted as some of his strongest features, along with his solid build.

With each ring Boris earned his spot in 4 finals, and achieved Champion status. Seeing his name officially ranked as the 4th Best British Shorthair in the Southeast has been an incredible achievement for us and a proud moment for our Bonbelle cattery!

What’s Next for Boris?

Boris will continue competing in upcoming shows, working toward higher titles like Grand Champion and beyond. We’re excited to see how far he’ll go and are incredibly grateful to the judges and fellow exhibitors who have recognized his quality. He will also be the dad to our Easter litter, with Natasha.
